The Dalles & Hood River - April 6
Bob Judkins, Russ Miyada, & Tom Nelson again tested the desire of the spring bass to eat.  With the Willamette River as brown as chocolate, they headed up the Columbia to The Dalles.  The water temperature was only 44 degrees but a few smallmouth were willing to sample their wares.  Four bass were put in the boat at the Dalles, with one of them of being a four pounder.  The wind continued to pick up so they loaded up the boat and headed back downriver to Hood River where the weatherman had predicted calmer winds.  The weatherman was right, as strange as that sounds.  Only one bass was caught but it was a three and a half pounder.  All the guys had a fun trip.
