PRINEVILLE RESERVOIR - MAY 19-23
The annual campout is like a box of chocolates...... What we got this year was tolerable weather considering it's 2011, great food and friendship as usual, and while fishing was good, catching was the worst on record.  Severe weather prior to the campout almost completely turned the carppie bite off.  Bass fishing wasn't much better but improved as the weekend progressed.  The only fish ready to bring it on were bullhead catfish.  While the club is noted to supply ODFW thousands of crappie for transfer to other lakes, less than 50 crappie were caught during our stay.
