A benefit Big Bass Tournament for
Justin Jacobson
Justin Jacobson, an avid bass fisherman, was diagnosed on May 30, 2009 with a large mass in his liver. It turned
out to be Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma, a rare type of liver cancer most common in children between the ages of
10 to 15. Justin is currently in St. Joseph Medical Center in Phoenix Arizona, where he has been undergoing chemotherapy to
shrink the mass before it can be removed. The plan is for Justin to have a liver transplant in October of this year. Justin
is feeling well right now. He is anxious to begin treatment, get on the road to recovery, and back out on the water. Let’s
join together to help make this happen. To follow Justin’s story, read the latest update: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jdjacobson
